Q: What is CranioSacral Therapy (CST)?
A: CST is a technique that utilizes a gentle, hands on approach to evaluate and realign the body's craniosacral system, made up of membranes and cerebrospinal fluid. Using a soft touch no more than 5 grams, the practitioner is able to identify and release restrictions in order to improve the overall functioning of the central nervous system. This type of specialized therapy is beneficial for preventative care and for the treatment of pain and dysfunction.
